Built from a foundation in independent media
The story behind USNX began years before the organization itself. In 2016, Even St. Julien founded EVEN News as a nine-year-old in Acadiana. What began as an independent digital news outlet grew into years of reporting, digital coverage and community-focused media work.
That experience became part of the foundation for something broader. In 2026, United States Network Exchange was established with a vision that extends beyond a single newsroom or program.
USNX is designed as an exchange — an umbrella organization capable of housing distinct media networks and programming in news, culture, community, entertainment and other areas while allowing each to maintain its own identity.

USNX News
USNX News is the first major network operating under the United States Network Exchange banner.
Its mission is centered on a simple editorial principle: audiences should be able to clearly distinguish reporting from commentary. USNX News is built around reporting relevant facts, providing necessary context and resisting the pressure to turn every story into a predetermined narrative.

The newsroom begins with a strong commitment to Louisiana and Acadiana while developing coverage and programming intended for audiences across the United States.
Digital first. Built to grow.
USNX is being developed as a digital-first organization, with programming and reporting distributed through its website and social platforms including Facebook and YouTube.
The organization's long-term vision includes expanded original programming, additional USNX networks and live coverage of major regional and national events.
USNX News is also developing its planned flagship broadcast, USNX Evening News with Even St. Julien, expected to debut in mid-2027.
